LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF, HEY! I'M KIT!

My name's Kit Stone and if we haven't met yet, it's lovely to meet now! I'm the non-binary, they/them pronoun using, "big spice in a small package" energy behind Stone + Flint Co., a locally grown Freelance Photography & Design company based out of Kitchener-Waterloo and serving the Tri-Cities, Guelph & GTA areas since 2010 in both digital and analogue mediums with a focus on natural light. 

 

I'm here to empower the underdog, the quietly fabulous, and shamelessly authentic. I'm here to build community & value creating a safe space in every session so you can be aggressively & shamelessly yourself in every frame, no matter who you are. I value creating accessible safe spaces, not just for the LGBTQIA+ community, but for alternatively abled, and BIPOC communities as well. I know first hand what it's like to not feel seen or safe as a trans person looking for headshots, couples photos or some sexy boudoir pics to empower myself, relationships, and business, so I know how awful it is to feel judged, hear slurs, or feel uncomfortable in any way during an activity meant to uplift and empower. We all look our best when we feel our best, and that can't happen without feeling safe and seen in your space. I champion creating meaningful connections with everybody that steps in front of my lens so I can see you the way you see yourself, and tap into the passion you feel for what and/or who you love the way you do, so you can share that vision with your friends, family, community, colleagues, and the world.
